Inner Temple

The redwoods have a mystical quality, not just imagined, but somehow what they are about. Their roots all grow together and form a single organism under the ground, and they grow straight, tall, and wide up toward the light above. There is a stillness, and a perseverance, that they radiate. Everyone who is willing to get lost in their wonder for a while comes out a bit brighter, a bit more alive.
